"It's such a pretty app I hate to give it a low score, but there is nothing to this. All you do is match hiragana to hiragana. As in A for A, KA for KA, etc. I'm not sure how it's suppose to teach anything when it just throws you into it and you are doing nothing but match kana symbol for kana symbol, not the sound or the romaji or whatever. The only reason it does not get a 1 star is because as I said it's pretty to look at and has up beat cute music. Almost insulting like Teletubbies. ^^!"

"This app let me effectively learn Hiragana, and some basic vocubulary in a short period of time with just 5-10 minutes a day. My four year old also loves the app. There are some syllabls you wouldn't pronounce in some words, but I am assuming this app could also be used by Japanese children to learn to write basic words they already know how to say."
